Restaurants

Angelo's Downtown Pizza

Angelos is a well-known Italian restaurant and pizzeria. It has a wide selection of pastas and, of course, a mix of great toppings for their hugely popular pizzas. They also have a variety of salads and anything on their menu can be ordered as a take-away.  If you want to enjoy a glass of wine or beer though, you'll need to bring your own.

Black Dog Tavern

Black Dog Tavern is a popular grill and bar, serving a range of burgers and other mains, as well as great appetizers, such as nachos and fried brussels sprouts, that go well with a cold beer or drink on the patio outside. For sports lovers, there are six TVs showing one of your favorite games and plenty of tables to get together with a group of friends.

Chevelles

Chevelles is a long-established roadside bar and restaurant with great food and a great atmosphere. They're well-known for their burgers and Thursday night wings specials. They also have live bands and entertainment on weekends and other specials throughout the week.

Nocturnal Brewery

Nocturnal is a newly established brewery in a tastefully renovated historical building in the town square.  It has a classic menu using locally grown and sourced ingredients. The beers are excellent and the atmosphere is unique.

Mariolino's Italian Cuisine

Well, the name says it -- Italian food and a pleasant family atmosphere. But, hey, they also serve Mexican food and a great variety of other sandwiches and wraps -- even chicken wings!  You can get everything here, all well-prepared and for a good price.

Corner Coffee Shop

The Corner Coffee Shop is located in the Hayesville Town Square and is the perfect meeting place for businesspeople (you can even drop off your UPS parcels and send things by Federal Express!), or just to have a pleasant cup of coffee and some basic food with friends.  What makes this place special, however, is the regular events they hold, like wine tasting (first Tuesday of the month) and the unusual, but fun, ways to mingle with locals and visitors.  Give them a call or stop in to get the schedule.

Mary's Southern Grill

Mary's, which is on the border of NC/Georgia, deserves a special mention. It serves amazing breakfasts and should not be missed.  As for lunch and dinner, there's probably nothing that Mary's doesn't serve and cook well -- all good, down-home food at a great price and in a friendly, cozy atmosphere.

Rib Country

Rib Country is a well-known family-owned restaurant chain in the area.  It serves, you guessed it! Ribs and lots of them!  They also do chicken and other barbecue options with great sides and great service.  The atmosphere is down-home and welcoming and perfect for family lunches and dinners, or just getting together with friends.

The Pizza Place

You know what they say, you can't have too many pizzas in the same week! The Pizza Place is another excellent pizzeria, which has been in the family for three generations. They serve a wide variety of pizzas, mainly for take-away.  You can go to their website and order online for a quick pick-up.

Copper Door

Step into another world when you visit The Copper Door! This restaurant provides a fine dining experience with a 5-star menu and service. It’s in a class by itself in this region and makes for a memorable culinary experience in the mountains.  People come from all over just to enjoy the exceptional menu choices, great selection of wine, and high quality atmosphere.

Anejo Grill

Anejo Grill is a long-established Mexican food restaurant serving a variety of classic dishes, as well as some of its own delicious specialties.  The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff and service are excellent.
